Guess what? Teacher preplanning week starts tomorrow and I’m not gonna be there! 🙂
Cue the happy dance music, please.

I’ll miss my workday peeps, but I’m so glad I took that giant leap of faith two months ago. Looking forward to a week of quilty fun and getting back out there after 10 days at home due to COVID.
I’m so happy your choice keeps getting reconfirmed! Believe it or not, I might be going back to temp at my old job for a couple of months 🤪 They haven’t backfilled my position yet and there are only two other people on my team and now one of them has to go out on medical leave. So, I volunteered to come back and temp while she’s out. They haven’t accepted my offer yet (they’re working with HR and who knows how long that could take!!).
Now that I’ve offered I’m feeling a little ‘buyers remorse’!!! But I feel so bad for the one person who would have to carry the work of 3…and two months isn’t so bad, right? LOL
Well, look at it this way. You’ve been retired for about 4 months now. You can tiptoe back in with no long-term commitment to see if returning to work might be something you want to do. If not, leave in 60 days with money for a really, really nice vacation (or upgrade your sewing machine!). 🙂
