Planning and sample making is underway. Classes will be held in June and/or July @ Stitch ‘N Quilt in Mableton. Project based classes may be held @ Cottontail Quilts in Kennesaw, depending on demand and classroom availability.
Theme I: What’s Cooking?
Stitchers will make potholders, an embellished towel, an apron and a tote/drawstring bag to hold their culinary gear.
Theme II: Summer Pajama Party
Stitchers will make a travel pillowcase,a pair of pj pants, embellish a purchased t-shirt and make a drawstring travel bag or zippered pouch to hold their gear.
Theme III: For the Fashionista
Stitchers will make a skirt, embellish a purchased t-shirt, bling a pair of flip flops and a sew a simple cross-body bag
Theme IV: Fun & Games
Stitchers will make a regulation size quilted checkerboard that reverses to a tic-tac-toe game board, craft custom checkers and sew up a zippered pouch to store the game pieces.
Any of the individual projects can be turned into a class or two, depending on the project.
