Opportunity knocked this week.
I was asked to develop the curriculum and coach/teach a F2F/virtual sewing course geared to 4th-8th grade students. Classes would start at the end of January and meet one Saturday a month F2F with weekly virtual office hours. Since I live 60 miles from the facility, the director floated the idea of volunteers hosting interim work sessions about 2 weeks after the F2F class with me.
Lots to ponder and think about. You know this is right up my alley!
I shared the news with my Mom, who still runs her own business at age 78. She informed me that she didn’t think I’d stay “retired” long. She said I needed something to keep my brain occupied. As usual, she’s right. 🙂
