This Saturday, we’ll make a potholder and oven mitt just in time for Mother’s Day. As my gift to you, I’m sharing the instruction sheet I hand out to the kids during our club sessions.
I developed my own oven mitt pattern based on a beloved vintage one in my kitchen drawer. Be creative and draft your own pattern. Trace your favorite “oven glove” and add about 1/2″ to it (all sides except the cuff) as a starting point. Or use any number of the free patterns you can find online.
