it’s finally over!

Ah, the sweet sound of silence. The political ads are finally over.

What really infuriates me, though, is the amount of money that was spent on this campaign.

Those funds would have been so much better spent on people in need.

HOOray for TELEMEDICINE

It’s actually kind of cool. In less than 10 minutes, I saw a licensed physician and had the prescription I needed sent to my local pharmacy. All from the comfort of my own home. Modern medicine is truly something. The best part? The visit fee was waived by my insurance provider.

A sinus infection decided to take hold at an inopportune time. My body was signaling that I’d better get on an antibiotic ASAP or the sinus infection might morph into something worse. This happened a couple of years ago and I have no desire to deal with sinusitis, double ear infections and bronchitis all at the same time again!

Feeling much better thanks to the antibiotic, nasal spray and Mucinex.

One MORE WEEK To GO!

January 5th can’t get here fast enough! The incessant barrage of political ads is simply too much. When the campaign higher-ups refer to voters on the other side as “the enemy” – we turned off the TV and radio. We’re all on the same American team the last time I checked.

We’ve recounted the ballots THREE times and yes, Mr. Biden is the winner. It’s past time for some Republicans to move on. I live in Cobb County and voted via mail-in ballot, so I happened to be part of the recent signature verification audit on all mail-in ballots in my county. You’ll be pleased to know that auditors found no evidence of voter fraud with the mail-in ballots.

Hubby thinks the vote will go the same way for both senators while I predict a split vote. We’ll see!
