Even in the big city, Mother Nature still puts on a show. I took this picture while walking Sadie at our favorite local park. Said park is tucked away in the middle of an established residential area, about 1.5 miles from major roadways and businesses. It has a decidedly suburban neighborhood feel, despite being close in to ATL proper.
Natural areas abound throughout the city. My doctor’s office is located intown near Piedmont Hospital. While sitting in traffic last week on Collier Road, I discovered the Louise G. Howard Park that connects to the Atlanta Belt Line. Also saw plenty of places to park. I’m pretty sure that Sadie & I will be exploring this park in the near future.
