Hard to believe it’s been almost 100 days of tracking on Weight Watchers.
My progress has been painfully slow.
This month, I gained and lost the same 2 pounds multiple times. Can you relate? I finished the month up 1/4 pound over where I was at the end of May.
June was a frustrating month. I was off my normal schedule most weeks and just plain wanted to eat. After 3 weeks of gain, lose, gain, I allowed myself to eat what I wanted. One caveat: I had to track whatever I ate (and boy, was some of the tracking UGLY). Guess what? I’d lost 1.4 pounds when I stepped on the scale this morning!
What’s my takeaway from June? A learning opportunity for what maintenance will look like when I finally hit goal weight? A test to show myself that I can stick with it even when I hit the dreaded weight loss plateau? Who knows? I’m just glad June is now in the rear view mirror.
Bring on July. I’m ready!
